About this event

An environment that’s purpose-built for collaboration, Digital Innovation Facility (DIF) includes a range of state-of-the-art lab space providing new opportunities to assist our industry partners in developing meaningful research partnerships across multiple academic disciplines including: robotics, modelling and simulation, immersive technologies, AI and data analytics.

Presenter information: Dr Andrew Levers

Dr Andrew Levers is the Executive Director of the Virtual Engineering Centre and leads the University of Liverpool’s Institute for Digital Engineering and Autonomous Systems (IDEAS). Andy has extensive senior industry and academic leadership experience, primarily in the aerospace sector. During his career at Airbus, he was responsible for manufacturing technology and strategy developments. At the VEC, Andy leads the digital transformation programs, LCR4.0 and LCR4.0 START and national digital framework projects
